Your Role and Mission

As an HR Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our HR team and contributing to the smooth operation of our HR processes. Your tasks will include:

  • Screen calling candidates and scheduling interviews.

  • Updating various HR platforms, such as Exact and other relevant systems

  • Filing employment applications and ensuring employee records are up-to-date.

  • Adjusting holiday balances and contract conditions in the system.

  • Assisting with administrative tasks, including contacting Dutch authorities when necessary to obtain information.

  • Providing overall HR administrative support and assisting the team with day-to-day tasks.

  • Assist with HR projects and initiatives

  • Other relevant HR tasks

What Your Day Might Look Like

You arrive at the office and check in with your HR colleagues to align on priorities for the week. After updating contract conditions in Exact and other platforms, you screen call candidates for internships and schedule interviews. Later, you assist in contacting Dutch authorities to clarify some employment-related matters. You have lunch with your colleagues, send a few emails to confirm interview appointments, and wrap up the day by updating holiday balances in the HR system.

What We Expect From You

  • Ideally, you are a student pursuing a degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field; however, we are also open to candidates looking for a part-time role.

  • Intermediate excel skills

  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to handle confidential matters with reliability and discretion.

  • Proactive and eager to learn about HR practices.

  • Excellent communication skills, with fluency in English (Dutch is a plus).

  • Comfortable working in an international and multicultural environment.

  • Able to work 12 hours per week, including at least one full day in the office (the other hours can be worked remotely).

What You Can Expect From Us

  • An initial contract of 6 months, with a one month probationary period

  • A salary of 14.5 euros gross per hour (approximately)

  • 28 days of holidays for full time employment (pro rata to your work hours)
