About Solarplaza

Solarplaza is a global leading organiser of high-level international solar energy conferences around the world. We offer knowledge and networking solutions for the renewable energy industry in both established and emerging markets across the globe. With 40+ young professionals from 15 different countries, we work to accelerate the energy transition from our Rotterdam office. Over the past 20 years, we have built a global network with the aim of positively impacting the world by accelerating the transition to renewable energy.


Your role and mission

  • Develop and design engaging content for social media platforms

  • Write compelling copy for posts, captions, and promotional materials

  • Schedule and manage posts using tools like Salesforce

  • Monitor and respond to comments and messages on social media channels

  • Analyse social media performance using tools like LinkedIn Analytics and Google Analytics

  • Utilise CRM tools like Salesforce to manage audiences

  • Assist in planning and executing social media campaigns and contests

  • Support the marketing team with research, strategy development, and creative brainstorming sessions

  • Maintain and organise a content calendar

Here’s what your day will look like as our Content Creation and Social Media Intern

Your day begins with a dynamic team meeting, brainstorming ideas for upcoming marketing campaigns over a fresh cup of coffee. You spend your morning creating engaging graphics and social media posts, showcasing your keen eye for design. After a collaborative lunch at La Cantina, discussing the latest design trends, you dive into a video editing project, bringing our brand's story to life. Your afternoon is spent managing and organising multimedia resources, ensuring everything is streamlined and accessible for the team. Before cycling home, you join a creative session to brainstorm ideas for a new project, adding your unique perspective to the mix.

Job requirements

What we expect from you

  • Pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field

  • Passion for creating engaging content, including developing and scripting videos for social media

  • Basic proficiency in image and video editing software (e.g., Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premiere Pro)

  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills

  • Attention to detail

  • Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment

  • Time frame - minimum 6 months - 12 months internship
