Your role and mission

  • Invoice Management: Supporting the Finance team in processing sales invoices for tickets and sponsorships.

  • Revenue Processing: Processing Eventsair ticket revenue.

  • Bookkeeping: Managing general bookkeeping.

  • Debtor Management: Managing debtors for timely collections.

  • Communication Coordination: Managing the finance inbox for smooth team communication.

  • Payroll Assistance: Supporting the Business Controller with payroll processing.

  • Other general support tasks, applicable to the role.


Here’s what your day will look like as our Assistant Financial Controller

You'll start your day either in the morning, embracing the fresh start, or after a lunch, allowing you to approach the afternoon with renewed energy. A cup of coffee will be your companion as you catch up on emails and connect with colleagues on Slack. Following this, a productive meeting with the financial controller will collaboratively set the priorities for the day. After responding to some last emails, you call it a day and cycle home.

Job requirements

What we expect from you

  • You have graduated with a Finance related MBO bachelor's program / Basiskennis Boekhouden (BKB), Praktijkdiploma Loonadministratie (PDL) or equivalent.

  • You are available for at least 16 hours per week.

  • Dutch fluency (for communication with tax authorities and clients).

  • You are organised, proactive and can keep up with deadlines.

  • You like to work in a team, but also independently.

  • Experience with payroll administration is advantageous.

  • Experience with Exact Online is advantageous.

  • A four-month initial contract, extendable for one year, with evaluation thereafter.
