Your role and mission

Support project managers responsible for organizing our solar industry conferences and campaigns, both in virtual and physical formats. This is similar to completing consultancy assignments, by identifying the relevant topics, matching them to the leading industry experts and designing the conference program.

A brief overview of your tasks :

  • Provide professional support to the Event team.

  • Support the development of our conference programs

  • Help sourcing and coordinating the different speakers

  • Gather and coordinate marketing content within given deadline and work in close relationship with our Marketing team

  • Supervise overall budget and monitor sales/costs

  • Mapping key stakeholders for better engagement and collaboration.

  • Managing badge systems to streamline processes.

  • Providing cross-functional support to various departments.

Additional Responsibility: Sustainability Company Improvement Project Lead:

Spearheaded initiatives to enhance company sustainability, including:

  • Optimizing and cleaning the database.

Here’s what your day will look like 

You start your day with the team, checking in over a coffee while sharing your plans and goals for the day. That morning, you have to work on our next conference in Madrid and manage relationships with our different speakers (emails, calls, …). After gathering all necessary information you will share an update with the project manager in charge of that event and discuss following steps. Lunchtime is at La Cantina while going over your colleagues’ weekend plans. In the afternoon, you are working on another conference happening in Copenhagen and collecting all the material our marketing team needs to start promotion. In parallel you are also working on a 3rd project where the project manager is needing help to finalize a presentation. After responding to some last emails, you call it a day and cycle home.

Job requirements

What we expect from you

  • You come from event/project management studies, at least HBO level.

  • You are currently a student at an educational institution in the Netherlands.

  • You are a fast learner.

  • You are accurate and detail-oriented.

  • You are a strong team player.

  • You are fluent in English.

  • You are available for at least 5 months, for minimum 4 days (32 hours) a week.

  • You are able to come into the office in Rotterdam at least two to three times per week (we operate in a hybrid modality).
